What is Gangstalking?

Gangstalking is a term people use to describe the terrifying feeling of being the target of persistent, organized group harassment. It's often experienced as a coordinated campaign of surveillance, disruption, and intimidation carried out by many people working together.

It's a complex and highly distressing experience, and it’s understood in two main ways:

A Coordinated Campaign: Some people use the term to describe real-world, organized group stalking where multiple individuals conspire to harass and monitor a person. This can be an extremely severe form of criminal stalking or mobbing.

A Persecutory Belief: In mental health contexts, the term is often related to a persecutory belief system. This is where an individual interprets ordinary, everyday events (like a neighbor clearing their throat or seeing the same car twice) as proof of a vast, secret, and organized conspiracy by government agencies or community members to control and torment them.

Regardless of how the experience is defined, the result is the same: profound psychological distress, fear, and a feeling of being completely alone.
